About Us
That Thing I Do was created by Sarah Ashfield, a Primary School teacher based in Belfast, N. Ireland. For a number of years, Sarah had started creating and developing her own techniques and resources to help teach breathing techniques, movement breaks and mindfulness in her own classroom.
In 2018/2019, we set up the TTID team to start developing and trialling 'The Daily 5' in a selection of primary and special schools in N. Ireland. The response was very encouraging! During the 2020 Pandemic, we released these trial videos on YouTube to help with the challenges of home-schooling. We launched our website in May 2021.

Alongside her teaching experience, Sarah has additional qualifications in ASD, counselling, kid's yoga (to help refine her TTID stretches!) and has vast experience working and nurturing children with ASD and other additional needs. Sarah is passionate about reaching and equipping all children with emotional and physical strength and resilience.

Alongside Sarah, there is a team that brings 'That Thing I Do' to life. Chris Hutchinson, Sai Kelly and Noel Ashfield form the rest of our TTID team, but we have a huge amount of additional support from friends, family and colleagues! We are very grateful to each and everyone for this support!

Chris is our music composer and producer and looks after the day-to-day running of That Thing I Do.
Sai is our videographer and producer. Both Chris and Sai are professionals in their field.
Noel is a secondary school teacher and helps with the production and running of TTID.
As a team, we want to bring the highest standard and quality of content we can achieve into the classroom!
